My ChoicesMy Choices The thirteen colonies showed the beginning. The Revolutionary War created our independence. The constitution is the framework of our country. It’s ratification completed one phase and began another

chapter. We went from separating to creating. Currency allowed us to stand alone. Expansion added to our resource. Settling it allowed us to use it. Removed the Native American obstacle (although

inhumanely). The Young Republic tested the amendments and showed

the strength of the constitution.
