Hyman Lippman, a painter, often had trouble finding his eraser.

When he finally found his eraser, he could not find his pencil.

But there were times when he found his pencil; he just couldn’t find his eraser.

In order to solve this problem, he invented a pencil with an eraser on one end of it.
