We read about crops and soil and how they are made.

What is the natural resource you read about

It grows from the ground. It also needs water to grow. Crops are

important Because some places are

dry.

How are crops created ?

They are found in farms and around my farm mostly in southern Alberta

Where are crops found?

It is cut and dried out and then is rolled up into a hay bale. This product is called hay bale/straws.

How is this turn into useful product?

A tracker picks up a bale and puts it on a trailer.

How is this resource transported?

You cant use a big machine that leaks oil.It can kill a crop.

How can this resource hurt the environment if we don't use it wisely.

I learned that hey keep cows fed in the winter. If we don't have crops, cows will die in winter.
