Please read the following
Conditions of entry:
Definitely NO dogs allowed on the grounds. Any persons with dogs will be asked to leave the
grounds. If you are a competitor, your entries will be forfeited.
All competitors must be a current ACA member. ACA membership season is 1st April–31
st March.
Riders under the age of 18 must wear Helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all ACA affiliated events.
Helmets must comply with current safety standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all
times
First Aid Service will be in attendance.
The status of a horse winning a campdraft will be determined by the highest class of horse that competes
with the exception of Juniors, Juveniles, Ladies, Mens, Old Buffers, Futurity, Associates and
Encouragement campdrafts. The winner attains the status of the highest class of horse participating (eg
if one Open horse competes then it is classed as an Open draft).
The committee WILL NOT be responsible for any injury to horse or rider. Competitors ride at their own
risk and ACA rules.
Judges decision is final.
A Horse Health Declaration must completed and a copy will be taken upon arrival at the Crows Nest
Pony Club Grounds.(Attached)
At the Committees discretion, any competitor mistreating stock in any way will be excluded from
competing any further for the entire event.
Front gate will be locked from 9:30pm Friday night. Gates will reopen at 5am Saturday morning.
Notes:
Nominations open on Campdraft Central 6am, Wednesday, 26th
August 2020 for 24hrs. Please ensure
current ACA Membership Number appears on Campdraft Central when nominating.
A 100% refund of the nomination fee will be given if the competitor withdraws more than 168
hours (7 days) prior to 8:00am on the first morning of the program. If a competitor withdraws
less than 168 hours (7 days prior to 8:00am on the first morning of the program), then the entire
nomination fee may be retained by the committee. If the committee deems that extenuating
circumstances apply, then a refund may be granted. Each case will be at the discretion of the
committee
Any changes to the draw are to be completed at least one (1) hour prior to the commencement of each
draft, after this time no other changes will be accepted. NOTE: Due to the Novice Draft commencing
at 6.00am on Saturday changes to this draft will only be accepted up until 7.30pm on Friday 11th
September 2020. (Secretary Office will be opened on Friday night from 7.00 – 7.30pm at the canteen).
Facilities
BYO generators. Toilets and Showers available throughout the weekend, where possible we ask that
you use your own amenities due to COVID restrictions.
Canteen will be in operation all day from 6:30am on Saturday. No Friday night meals available.
No bar will be operating over the weekend due to COVID restrictions.
30 steel yards available on a first in best dressed basis. These yards are not suitable for stallion
containment and all rules regarding stallion/handling containment are to be enforced.
COVID-19 Rules
A COVID Management Plan is in place. All officials, volunteers, competitors and spectators
must abide by it.
All Competitors and spectators must maintain good hygiene practices and maintain social distancing.
ONLY ONE spectator allowed per competitor due to number restrictions. Spectators name MUST be
provided at time of entry. Attendance form will be sent to all competitors before event
All competitors and spectators MUST provide a completed COVID-19 DECLARATION upon entry to
the grounds, failure to do so will forfeit your nominations.
Camp sites are to be 15 metres apart unless they are family members travelling together.
