A. To qualify for CSF officer for 2009-2010 academic year, follow these guidelines:
1. You must earn a minimum of 10 points from the most current grade check.
- The first 4 points must be from List I (unless you are a senior applying in
February or June).
-The first 7 points (including the 4 points described above) must be from LISTS I
or II.
- The remaining points may come from LIST I, II, or III.
2. You must use no more than 5 courses to qualify.
3. No CSF points are given to physical education, courses taken in lieu of physical
education, sports, subjects repeated to improve a grade, courses involving clerking and
office/ teaching assisting, and courses taken on a pass/ fail basis.
4. CSF points are granted as follows:
a grade of A = 3 CSF points B = 1 CSF point C = 0 point
- One additional point shall be granted for a grade of A or B in an AP, IB, or
Honors course, up to a maximum of two such points per semester.
- A grade of D or F in any course, even in one you cannot use to qualify,
disqualifies you from membership at this time.
- A U or an N in citizenship in any course, even in one you cannot use to qualify,
disqualifies you from membership at this time.

B. Staple an official copy of last semester’s report card or transcript to this application
form. All transcripts will be verified for accuracy. Officers must also obtain a current
grade check to verify predetermined eligibility for next semester. Use the grade check
sheet obtained in the counseling center.
C. Additional officer requirements:
1. No grade below a B in any course. No U’s or N’s in any course.
2. Two recommendation forms completely filled out (see recommendation forms).
3. A short interview conducted by the current officers (turn in application to advisors and
obtain interview time).
