Three Rivers University Department of Rural Health (UDRH), embedded within CSU, supports nursing, midwifery, dentistry and allied health students studying and undertaking placement across our regional area.

We aim to improve the recruitment and retention of healthcare professionals in regional and remote Australia, working in partnership with clinicians, educators and communities.

WHAT WE DO

Support CSU and other university students to undertake a placement in rural NSW.

Support Indigenous and rural-based students to become leading health professionals.

Support employers and clinicians offering placement opportunities to students.

WHAT WE OFFER

Six regionally based clinical educators, including a dedicated Indigenous clinical educator, supporting rural placements for staff and students.

Scholarships and grants.

Subsidised placement accommodation in Albury, Dubbo, Griffith, Orange and Wagga Wagga.

Three Rivers UDRH is based in central and southern NSW, covering both the Murrumbidgee and Western NSW Local Health Districts and Primary Health Networks. We are proud to be supported by the Australian Government Department of Health.
