Introducing the Newly Voted in Board Members The CTAO Board Members are voted in by the association members every two years. A position can be held for a maximum of 4 years. The newest crop of board members were voted in at the 2015 Fall conference by a body of their peers. Let’s get to learn the new team who are dedicated to helping you learn and grow in our field.
Cynthia Odens C.T. —President
Cynthia graduated from Lorain Community College school of Electrology in 2009 and attended the laser program at Cos-metic Therapy Training Center in 2013. She practices at the Fountain of Youth in Dayton. She has a Managing Cosmetology license since 1993 and also has a bachelors degree in Social Science from Cleveland State University. Cynthia started her ca-reer in a corporate setting working with different insurance com-panies and has several licenses and insurance certifications.
Chelsea Sposit C.T. —Vice President Chelsea has been a Cosmeteologist since 2005 and a Cosmetic Therapist since 2008. Her practice is at Salon Lofts in Beach-wood where she performs electrolysis, laser hair reduction, and skin care services.
Joyce Osborne C.T. —Treasurer
Joyce graduated in 1976 from Canton Ohio College of Limited Medical Practices. She runs two electrolysis clinics and her daughter, Li-sa Gladwell works with her. Joyce is a former accountant and is bringing her expertise to CTAO.
Courtney Helling C.T.—Corresponding Sec-retary Courtney is a Cosmetic Therapist who graduated from Lorain County Commu-nity College in November of 2008. She’s opened a busi-ness called Dublin Electroly-sis with her mother and aunt. She is also a certified per-manent makeup technician.

Amanda “Mandi” Nelson C.T.—Recording Secre-tary
Mandi trained at the Cos-metic Therapist Training Center and got her license in 2014. She immediately start-ed at The Laser Loft in Ga-hanna and takes clients part time. She also studied nutri-tion at The Ohio State Uni-versity and got her bachelors of science in 2008. Her mother, Elaine, is a former CTAO board member.

Board Member Trustees
Victoria Niebaur C.T. CLHRP—Trustee Victoria attended The Ohio Medical Institute for Electrology in Mansfield Ohio in 2013 and then went on for additional laser training in Kentucky. She graduated from Cuyahoga Com-munity College with an associates degree in business management as a member of their honor society. Owner of the business Confidence by Victoria, she works at for two Medical Spas in the Cleveland area, Docere Medical Spa and Persona Medi-Spa.

Patricia “Pat” Tuck C.T.—Trustee
Pat has been a Cosmetologist and Cosmetic Therapist since 1980. She served as a past President for CTAO and was an adjunct faculty member with Cosmetic Therapy Program at LCCC. She attended Kent State University and earned her Associate Degree of Nursing and is a Psychiatric Nurse at Northcoast Behavioral Hospital working on a Forensic Unit.
Pamela Parkinson C.T.—Trustee Pamela has been a licensed Managing Cosmetologist for over 45 years and a Cosmetic
Therapist since 1985. “I'm the proud owner of Unique Beautique Day Salon is Pataskala, Oh.”
