DESCRIPTION
This is a proposal by Cubic to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to develop and implement point of sale network terminals to add fare and conduct other transaction using Cubic Smartrip cards. Although the contract appears to be for completion in 2003, contracting difficulties between WMATA and Cubic mean that the effort is ongoing.
