    The goal of this project is to stimulate

    languages learning and to improve oral skills.

    Students will learn culture in a cooperative

    way, sharing information about different

    Anglophone countries.

    Main Objective

    Students will develop speaking skills through

    oral presentations talking about Anglophonecountries, their festivals, holidays, foods, and

    clothing.

    Students will develop cooperative learning . Students will gain knowledge of the culture

    from another part of the world.

    students will develop skills of critical thought

    when one looks for, selects and organizesinformation about the chosen subject.

    Students will demonstrate artistic skills

    through different performances, such asdances, recipes, songs, drawings and theater.

    Activating Prior Knowledge about culture of Anglophone countries.

    Display web sites and other resources about culture around world in

    the classroom. Allow students to explore and interact with thematerials to build motivation about the project.

    Conduct a class discussion about culture of Anglophone Countries to

    elicit prior knowledge. Ask question such as: What kind of music do

    people from Australia listen to?

    What is the traditional food and costume of Canada?

    After a classroom discussion, motivate students to write a short

    writing about cultural aspects of their favorite Anglophone country.

    To ask students to work in pairs.

    The students will select the Anglophone country. They will look for information (via internet/library).

    They will organize the material about the chosen

    country and prepare it by using slides, poster,images.

    The teachers monitor the students work.

    2. To collect and classify the

    Students will present their speech by using differenttools such as: slides, posters, images, brochures.

    Students will show a performance about theAnglophone Country. E.g.: A dance, a song, a poem, a

    play, a recipe. The audience will ask questions to the lecturers about

    the presentation of the Anglophone country.

    students will make comments about all the

    presentation in an evaluation sheet given by the

    teacher , they will keep in mind the quality of the

    language, the content, the disposition and the

    relevance of the presentations. The teacher will ask students to do a self-

    assessment.

    The teacher will give a feedback about the

    different presentations and suggestions for

    further lectures.

    Finally, the teacher will give students their

    grades individually taking into account the

    quality of speech, the tools used, the
