GUEST FACULTY LODGING INFORMATIONOcean Edge is located at 2907 Main Street, Brewster (Cape Cod), Massachusetts. It is a one and one-half to two hour drive from Boston, or a 12-mile drive from the Barnstable/Hyannis Airport, which has daily air service from New York, Hartford, and Boston. In addition to being an excellent conference facility, Ocean Edge offers multiple recreation activities, including a championship golf course, tennis courts, swimming pools, exercise rooms, and biking and jogging trails.
A block of rooms has been reserved for registrants attending this seminar at a special conference rate. The block includes hotel rooms on the ocean side of the property as well as 1-bedroom villas across the street on the golf course side of the property. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block fills or before the expiration date of June 18th, whichever comes first. After that date, reservations will be accepted on a space available basis. DIRECTIONS TO OCEAN EDGEPick up Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway) at the end of the Sagamore Bridge and follow Route 6 to the Brewster/Harwich Exit, #10. Turn left onto Route 124 and follow to the intersection of Route 6A (approximately 10 minutes). Turn right on 6A East. From this point, it is 1.8 miles to Ocean Edge Resort and Conference Center. Check in is available on both the golf course and ocean sides of the property.

COURSE OBJECTIVESThis program is an annual course that encompasses both luminal gastroenterology and hepatology. It is designed to provide gastroenterologists, internists, surgeons and advanced practitioners with a clinically oriented update on the advances and controversies on critical topics in gastroenterology and liver disease. This 4-day program will cover multiple subjects, examining the science underlying the issues in gastroenterology and providing the information by which to guide patient treatment and management strategies.
This activity will address the following ACGME/ABMS Competencies: Medical Knowledge, Patient Care, Practice Based Learning and Improvement.
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
• More effectively manage patients with IBD on biologic agents;
• Employ the latest and evidence based practice management of Eosinophillic Esophagitis;
• Partner with surgeons to most effectively manage diverticular disease;
• Understand the role of pelvic floor physical therapy for dysfunction.

COURSE OBJECTIVESThis program is an annual course that encompasses both luminal gastroenterology and hepatology. It is designed to provide gastroenterologists, internists, surgeons and advanced practitioners with a clinically oriented update on the advances and controversies on critical topics in gastroenterology and liver disease. This 4-day program will cover multiple subjects, examining the science underlying the issues in gastroenterology and providing the information by which to guide patient treatment and management strategies.
This activity will address the following ACGME/ABMS Competencies: Medical Knowledge, Patient Care, Practice Based Learning and Improvement.
Upon completion of this course participants will be able to:
• More effectively manage patients with IBD on biologic agents;
• Employ the latest and evidence based practice management of Eosinophillic Esophagitis;
• Partner with surgeons to most effectively manage diverticular disease;
• Understand the role of pelvic floor physical therapy for dysfunction.

DIRECTIONS TO OCEAN EDGEPick up Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway) at the end of the Sagamore Bridge and follow Route 6 to the Brewster/Harwich Exit, #10. Turn left onto Route 124 and follow to the intersection of Route 6A (approximately 10 minutes). Turn right on 6A East. From this point, it is 1.8 miles to Ocean Edge Resort and Conference Center.
