What We Do • Customer Analytics & Reporting (CAR) is an analytics organization residing in the KP

Health Plan portfolio under the Marketing & Branding department

• Our mission is to make sure employer groups are getting the most from their

healthcare investment by offering a suite of opportunities to measure the value and

quality of the care their employees receive

• In addition, to our Partnership in Health suite of reports, we also provide ad-hoc and

value added data analytics

• It’s not just about the data! We are in the marketing group, and branding and

messaging about the KP value story is just as important, the data is used to support

the messaging

Why We Chose Cognos

• Needed a market-facing report that supports data, messaging and graphics, integrated

to tell KP story

• Needed a report output that could easily be ‘tweaked’ by Account Managers

• Cognos/IBM was only BI vendor that could render reports in PowerPoint format
