Responsibilities
1. Developing Procedures and Technical Standards in Electrical, Electronics, ICT and Energy Sectors.
2. Coordinate work between the International and Regional Standards Bodies i.e. ISO, IEC, CENELEC,
IEEE and AFSEC respectively in their work with the local National Electrotechnical Committee in the
development and adoption of International Standards and any other activities.
3. Participate on behalf of the national committee in International and Regional Standards activities i.e. IEC

General Meeting, AFSEC General Assembly. Currently serving as the National Secretary of the National Electrotechnical Committee of the IEC.
4. Planning, Managing and organising Technical Committee (TC) and their meetings and preparing
Working Draft Documents, Work Plans, meeting agenda and minutes, Business Plans, Technical
Proposals and any other documents deemed relevant by the TC. Also maintain an active database of all
TC members
