A FOREVER GROWING COMPANYIn the pump business a brand name has for over 25 years been the hallmark of technology, quality and reliability . The name is DAB . We were founded in 1975 as a pump designer and manufacturer with the specific aim of meeting increasingly higher market requirements, by not only offering products compliant with the highest quality control levels, but also an efficient and versatile service . Starting from our first manufacturing plant, now our head office, we have since grown to employ over 500 people and occupy an area exceeding 60,000m2, with industrial sites housing our R&D and production sections that can keep pace with the world-wide market . Our evolution is proven by our four European subsidiaries that form a network to provide our partners and clients with local support . This organisational endeavour has led us to sell over 1000 different listed models and thousands of satisfied customers who can fully verify DAB’s quality .

PRE-CHARGEFor PRESSURE SWITCH CONTROLLED PUMPS with a 140kPa (20 psi) differential, the tank pre-charge is set to 20 kPa (3 psi) BELOW the cut in pressure . For pumps controlled by VARIABLE SPEED CONTROLS, pressure controls or pressure switches with a GREATER than 140 kPa (20 psi) differential, the tank pre-charge should be set to 65% of the maximum system pressure .

For a pressure switch controlled pump with a differential pres-sure set up to 140 kPa (20 psi), the tank pre-charge should be set to 20 kPa (3 psi) below the cut-in pressure .4 . For a pump controlled by a pressure switch with a higher differential, electronic control or variable speed control, the tank pre-charge should be set to 65% of the maximum system pres-sure .5 . For a pressure tank installed on mains pressure, pre-charge should be set at the mains pressure .6 . For hot water expansion, pre-charge should be set at the mains pressure .7 . Close the tap .8 . Turn the water supply and power on .

How Many Litres A Minute Do You Need?
1. For a pressure switch controlled pump with a differential pressure set up to 140 kPa (20 psi), the tank precharge should be set to 20kPa (3 psi) below the cut-in pressure.2. For a pump controlled by a pressure switch with a higher differential, electronic control or variable speed control, the tank precharge should be set to 65% of the maximum system pressure.3. For a pressure tank installed on mains pressure, precharge should be set at the mains pressure.4. For hot water expansion, precharge should be set equal to the mains pressure
