We were so happy to “break in” the new Aiken Classic Club and know that Mary Ann would have been thrilled with this wonderful permanent addition to Highfields Event Center. Professional divisions wrapped up today, our first Championships were awarded and we look forward to having our junior and amateurs joining the schedule for tomorrow and the weekend. Good luck to all of the riders that will show in the $7,500 Open Welcome Stake on Friday! Results for Thursday, April 21 th Full results can be found at horseshowsonline.com, Click on Show Selector and find Aiken Spring Classic Masters DIETRICH DERBY FIELD .90m Jumper: Wiz, owned by Nancy Wetmore, with Fabio Andres Rodriguez 1.0m Jumper: Zidaan, owned by Eleanor Ward, with Gonzalo Garcia Take2 Thoroughbred Jumper: Elle’s Bells, owned by Courtney Young, with Doug Payne Second Year Green / High Performance Working Hunter: Havens Schatt dominated the division winning both rounds today with CH Farm’s Mostly Sunny giving the pair enough for the Reserve Champion award behind John Yozell’s Breeze who was Champion with Schatt aboard. First Year Green Working Hunter: Liza Boyd won the first round with Pony Lane Farm’s Like I Said, with the win in the handy going to Diadora and owner Havens Schatt. Like I Said (Pictured Left) finished with enough for the Championship over Diadora in Reserve. Performance Hunter 3’6”: Alyssa Mansfield rode Stone Lane Farm’s Premium Blend for blue in the under saddle class. Stella Styslinger’s O’Ryan with Liza Boyd riding won the first round over Alexandra Mcready’s Checklist with Daniel Geitner who topped the handy round. Checklist finished with the Champion award over O’Ryan who was Reserve Champion.

$500 1.20m Jumper: Botanja, owned by Courtney Young, with Doug Payne

$1,000 6 Year Old Young Jumper: Con Fire, owned by Wendy Arndt,

with Daniel Geitner

Pre-Green Hunter 3’: It was more blue for Havens Schatt and Kelley Corrigan’s

Intergalactic today, with the pair winning both the under saddle and the first

round which gave them enough for the Championship. Schatt won the second

round with her own Calipari. The Reserve Champion award went to Ann

Lineberger’s San Sebastian.

Pre-Green Hunter 3’3”: Pony Lane Farm’s Balleryna took a clean sweep of the

division winning all three classes today and taking home the Champion tri-color.

Bruce Christison rode Charlotte Warren’s Czechmate for blue in the USHJA Pre-

Green Challenge and the pair finished as the Reserve Champion.

Performance Hunter 3’3”: Cawthra Burns won two out of three classes today,

taking home the top call in the under saddle with her mount Posh and winning

the Handy Round with her own Crush. Liza Boyd won a class with Casey Papp’s

Rio De Janeiro Z. Crush was the Champion and Booth Parker’s Zazoe finished as

Reserve with rider Daniel Geitner.

Performance Hunter 3’: Ruby Sloan’s Look Again won the first round with rider Liza Boyd and Bruce Christison rode Emma

Covington’s Umberto for the win in the second round. Christie Goodwick’s Rovaniemi with Christina Jason won the

Champion award and Boyd was Reserve with Mary Mitchener’s Trinity, who won both rounds yesterday.

HUNTER RING 3

Baby Green Hunter: Double Hooligan won both rounds today, with Daniel Geitner up for owner Janet Peterson, over

Coulson Duerksen’s Belle Rouge with Paul McRae. The under saddle win went to Portrait of a Lady with owner Jordan

Hattaway-Pereira.

Hopeful Hunter: It was a clean sweep today for Reilly Hyde’s No Question About It with rider Lauren Hulen Kissel, winning

all three classes.

Aiken County Hunter: Another clean sweep division today, all three classes were won by Judgement Call with Sarah Milliren

riding for owner Liddy Strickland.

Take2 Thoroughbred Hunter: Daniel Geitner won both rounds with Janet Peterson’s Restless Honor and went on to take

blue in the under saddle with Peterson’s Imperial Rest.
