Thank you to our Derby Party sponsors Glassy Mountain Farm and The Petersons! The Dietrich Derby Field at Highfields provides a unique arena for the USHJA class with leveled natural footing and a wide open arena with long approaches that allow for horses to open their stride and show their stuff over the bold obstacles. The crowd gets into the big classes that happen on the outside course adding an exciting element, cheering on their favorite horses and riders after each trip. However, it never fails, as tension mounts and we get down to the final few horses in the handy round, the crowd seems to hold their breath and there is silence until the score is announced! We applaud Liza Boyd who won the class with Pony Lane Farm’s Like I Said over John Yozell’s Breeze with Havens Schatt. Full Results Below!
