MusicIn the 60s there were many popular bands and artists some of those were: The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Orbison, Buddy Holly, The Drifters, Jim Reeves, The Mamas Roy and The Papas, The Monkees, Simon and Garfunkel, The Supremes, Aretha Franklin and Cream . Most of these bands/artists are pop some are pop rock some just rock and Bob Dylan a folk artist. The music then is different to today's because it was more rock and pop and nowadays it is rap and hip hop and country etc. This generation of music was following the king of pop Elvis Presley from the 50s and the band that still sells and is popular among some people is the Beatles.

EconomyThings would seem cheaper to us now because we earn more money but in the 60s things would seem more expensive because they earn less money for example to buy a new house in the early 60s it would cost $12,700 and by 1969 it was $15,500. So the price went up quite a bit. Another example would be a gallon of gas in 1960 it was 25c and by 1969 it was 45c. But it was cheaper in the olden days because as I said people earnt less.
