Translation agency entrepreneur Summer 2010

hope one day will be strong enough to create many jobs for freelance translators.

Oneness Trainer 2010- Today

A Oneness Trainer aims to help people from any religion, culture and any socioeconomic

level to grow and awaken to the truth of whom they really are, finding new meanings in

interpersonal relationships, with nature and with their own Divinity. During this period and

based on the teachings of the Oneness University, I worked with another Oneness Trainner

with the mission to transmit these teachings in Mexico through meditations, oneness-

blessings (or diksha), the "Oneness Awakening Course", Mukthidiksha sacred dance, and

the 64 dikshas. In total I taught six courses of 20 hours including chakra meditation, healing

relationships and getting a closer approach to oneself to others through practical and

spiritual matters. I had to administer resources, time and space and to promote my own

courses. I suggest looking at the pages of the Oneness University:

www.onenessuniversity.org and http://www.omoneness.com/index.html

Meditation Teacher

Sep2009-June 2010

Sivana Yoga (Queretaro)

http://www.sivanayogaqueretaro.com/

For almost a year I was a meditation teacher in a yoga center in Queretaro, Mexico. Once a

week I held chakra meditation sessions combined with spiritual teachings from the Oneness

University. The teachings were discussed during the sessions and practiced during the week

until the next session.

I worked with Greenpeace as a fundraiser in department stores, my main duty was to find

people who cared for the environment and who were willing to donate or to help by signing

up to the different campaigns and supporting them. As part of my responsibilities at

Greenpeace, I had direct contact with costumers and I had to work as a team with other

promoters/fundraisers with constant supervision. I also promoted the association’s activities

and environmental solutions and I informed people about the biggest concerns in global

issues. My commitment, enthusiasm, attitude, discipline and selling skills were tested on a

daily basis.

Book Seller and Client Service Aug.2006-

Jul.2009

Gandhi Bookstores –Librerías Gandhi- (Queretaro, Mexico)

http://www.gandhi.com.mx/

Gandhi is one of the top bookstores in Mexico. During my three years in the company, I

worked as a salesman. Because of my motivation, my dealing with customers and skill in

public relationships, I was promoted to the special sales department where I was responsible

for large sales, providing books for school libraries and for the government of the state of

Querétaro (some of my clients were: the Autonomous University of Queretaro, Sunhill

College and The State Library: “Manuel Gomez Morín”, among others). During this period

I had to develop my management skills and dealing with hard customers.

Specializations & Interests

In my free time I enjoy art in general, especially poetry and painting. My favorite activity (verb) is

friendship, even when it is actually a noun. My second favorite thing is eating pizza. Besides from

that, I am interested in human development from any point of view. I do not believe that there is a

“right” path, but that every person has to find his or her own way. That is why I am studying to be

a teacher. The linguistics part is just because I love linguistics.
