LearningEach OS has very different behaviour
● Mobile devices show very high latency and are least tolerant to scaling. So if your target deployment environment is generic or expects more mobile devices, then it has to be tested with mobile devices.
● Linux in general seems to scale well and so does windows to some extent, so these are less important OS when it comes to Scaled tests.
● Windows shows very different behaviour with different applications. So if windows OS is the target, then testing specific applications is more important.

Steps to use multi-OS info to perfect the AP● Establish the average application performance for a particular OS● Compare your Access Point OS specific numbers with the Category average● Find which OS, the AP is performing best and worst. At times, better handling
of one OS can make the entire difference in the rankings. e.g. say CISCO handles Windows better
● Run the tests with best OS and then Run the same test with worst OS devices. Compare the Diagnostics. You will get insights specific to the Access Point

● More ACKs rather than no ACks.● Aggregation not working effectively, no Block Acks● Time gap between two packets is larger (double)● All these were somehow related, as when one was
fixed, other disappeared
