Saleswah CRM is an enterprise

class hosted software product

that is constantly adding to its

features and functions.

Please visit us online at

www.saleswah.com and follow

our blog

http://blog.saleswah.com where

we will keep announcing new

features and functions on a

regular basis. By its very nature,

this document is outdated almost

as soon as it is published!

Basic terms used in Saleswah:

Accounts are organizations you

sell to and Contacts are people

that work there; people you need

to meet, phone, email or

otherwise engage to get

business. Contacts in Saleswah

are grouped under Accounts.

Campaigns are marketing led

engagements with contacts and

accounts aimed at getting more

leads for the sales people to

follow. The campaigns are created by a process of designing an email

template, then selecting a filtered list of contacts to email to and then

emailing them. The purpose of the emails could be email newsletters,

seminar invites etc.

Tasks are activities that you have scheduled and assigned to your sales

people to perform related to some product and contact.

Sales proposals are created and saved as draft for anyone to access,

modify and send out saving time.

Quotes, purchase order acknowledgements and invoices are self-

explanatory.

A deal is an opportunity and Saleswah offers you the ability to track its

progress through the stages, map the tasks and quotes associated with

it and forecast a possible closure date and chances of a win.

upload product list etc.

More customization? Talk to us and we will examine your particular need. Modules/ Features: We are listing all the features of Saleswah below this. Depending on the specific role of the user in the system, some roles may not be available.

Contact Manager Add, update, delete contact records. Also upload your contact list from Excel or synch with Google Apps.

Expect to spend a lot of time on this screen, as most customer facing

activities like sending literature, sending a quote or proposal can be

initiated here. As those activities are performed, they are

automatically logged in Saleswah, under the same contact record.

Tasks related to a contact- can be seen under the Tasks tab

Account Manager See all the accounts in a list, sort,

filter. You can merge duplicate

accounts as well- which brings all

the contacts and related activities

together under the same new

account record.

You can create an account record

and then add contact records to it

or create an account record in the

process of creating a new contact

record.

Other information The contacts within the account and the comments about the account are stored in separate tabs, all information captured over time, by whoever has anything to contribute. You can sort, filter, delete and merge account records. Merging allows you to get rid of duplicate records at the same time, ensuring the contacts, deals, tasks etc of the merged records are kept associated with the same merged

account record.

Accounts screen views: List, View details and modify, Contacts and

comments tabs

Accounts are very important in Saleswah’s scheme of things. All other

records like leads, deals, contacts are aggregated and correlated at the

account level. Accounts are the level at which responsibilities/ ownership is

established- an account can only be assigned to a single account owner/

sales executive.

Task manager

Saleswah allows you to schedule

a task for yourself or for anyone

below you in the direct chain of

command. You can add a

comment and relate this task to

a product. It is necessary to

select the customer contact to

whom the task is related.

The task once created, is

assigned to the account owner

and he can update the task

status, add comments and

change the follow up date with

full visibility to his supervisors.

History of all tasks are

maintained in the system. A

dashboard shows you bird’s eye

view of the pending tasks with

all executives.

Marketing campaign management and lead generation Saleswah has comprehensive

campaign management

capabilities. It can create

campaigns such as newsletters,

seminar invites and log the

responses to the database

automatically.

So, you can invite contacts to a

seminar on email and have an

updated list of those who have

registered for the seminar.

More interestingly, all

marketing campaign responses

are stored and correlated with

the other activity data in the

database constantly – like

literature mailing, seminar

attendance, sales calls etc to

judge when to send a automatic

trigger to the sales executive

regarding a possible

opportunity to sell- or a “lead”.

This is unique to Saleswah.

Campaign responses and follow up:

Responses from campaigns are available real-time. You can get a list of

registered attendees in a seminar right in the campaign screen so that on

the day of the seminar, you can mark the ones who attend present.

Automatic lead identification and triggering: A Saleswah special

Saleswah differs from other platforms

in being a complete platform for

performing and logging all customer

facing activities. Rarely do you need to

leave Saleswah for performing any of

the activities that Sales and Marketing

folks need to perform.

Saleswah adds to that experience. It

trawls through the database sifting

through all the activities, responses,

attendances in events, requests for

quotes etc and when it spots activities

in an account converge around a

product class, it triggers the account

owner that there is a “lead” for him to

follow.

Sales Proposals

You can create professional looking

proposals for use in different sales

situations for your sales people to

modify and reuse. Especially useful for

standardizing responses to

preliminary inquiries, periodic

responses to channel partners etc.

This is also useful when you want to

send your quotations with a

forwarding note. With upto 3 attachments to every proposal possible.

Quotations

Do you need to send formal quotations, with taxes, discounts, delivery

terms, payment terms and such? Use the inbuilt quotation builder and send

out professional looking quotes such as these:

Quotes and Sales Proposals can lead to Purchase Orders and they

sometimes need to be formally acknowledged on amended terms and

conditions. This is why, Saleswah allows you to log a PO Acknowledgement

directly from the platform as well and send to the customer.

Leads and deals

Leads can be created in the system,

either automatically or by someone

manually flagging a contact as a lead

for the responsible sales executive to

follow through. In either case, a lead is

a sales intent captured at the

preliminary stage. Leads need to be

first thought worthy of being followed

up by the sales executive, where he

marks it as a deal.

A deal is a qualified sales opportunity.

The sales executive works on it and

logs the names of the decision makers

and their roles in the purchase process,

stages of the deal- has the product (s)

been discussed and do the decision

makers like it, has the customer budget

been identified, have the items been

quoted for and if so, is the quote within

the budget. The sales executive also

makes two qualitative judgements:

when will she forecast the order to

come in and what are the chances of a

win. The deal record contributes to the

sales funnel which is always updated

by the changes in the values of the constituent deals.
