    1. Better with 2 piles of flashcards but ok with 1(seediagram).

    Flashcard Scrabble spelling game for YL, teens & adults (Activity 6) Preparation = make flashcardsscrabble pieces

    3 or 4 pairs of chopsticksActivity = 15 20 mins

    1. 3 teams A B C2. Scrabble pieces on floor (face down optional) with

    chopsticks3. Teacher stands holding flashcard towards chest4. Students ask Y/N questions e.g. are you a doctor?5. Once teacher says yes, I am, student 1 runs to

    scrabble pieces, uses chopsticks to pick up any letterin the word d-o-c-t-o-r.

    Preparation = photocopyingActivity = 10 15 mins

    1. Individually. 2. Good for Get Set Go books3. Make 1 photocopy (example above)4. Tippex/erase a few key speech bubbles5. Now make 1 copy for each student6. The erased speech bubbles should be retyped on

    the computer and enlarged.

    7. Randomly stick speech bubbles on corridor wall.8. Student runs out into corridor, remembers some words, returns to desk & gradually writes the speech

    bubbles back in order, on their photocopy.9. After, students check with each other and their book.

    Human Tape Player for kids (Activity 13) Preparation = photocopying +erasing phrases
