The future presents opportunities for technology to meet the crucial needs of society, health being one of the them. Tele-medicine has been identified as one of the ways health care can be improved among underserved communities who have limited access to proper health care.

Tele-medicine is the use of communication and information technologies for delivery of clinical care through the phone or Internet with the purpose of consulting for remote medical procedures or examinations.
