Day 2:

A- Analyze LearnersI will be teaching 3’s multiplication to a third grade class. There are ten boys and seven girls. 80% white and 20% African American.

S- State ObjectiveMy third grade class will be able to say their 4’s by the end of the day. We will use the games that I found on Pinterest as a way to start out the class. They will also go over a PowerPoint I created and will answer them aloud. They will be able to do these with 100% accuracy by the end of the day.

S- Select Methods, Media, and Material. Based on the different skill levels of the students, the students will learn how to do their 4s by a PowerPoint. I will give each group popsicle sticks to make the numbers on the board. They will then give the answer by writing it on a little white board. I will ask them for the answer and they will hold up the white board. They will also get to spend time on the computer playing games.

U- Utilize Media and MaterialEach table will be given a box of popsicle sticks. There will be equations on the PowerPoint they will have to answer. They will also receive other objects such as little cars or bears. They will get to get on the computer and play the games provided on Pinterest. They will be given time to go over the PowerPoint in groups.

R- Require Learners ParticipationThe students will be given time to finish their games on class. We will go over the PowerPoint to make sure everyone understood the questions. I will be writing a multiplication problem on the smart board and a student at a time will come up and write the correct answer. We will also talk about the games they played on Pinterest and go over the correct answers. They will also get to ask the other students a certain multiplication equation and will be given a certain time to answer the question.

E- Evaluate and ReviseWe will go over PowerPoint aloud and that is what they will be graded on for the day. They will be graded on how well they did on the games from Pinterest. They will also get a participation grade if they participated in the song.
