It was another hot day filled with great speak- ers covering many different topics. Thank you to everyone who helped put this event together. On July 17 th , Marco Antonio Paredes (Arlington County Dept. of Parks and Rec) represented our branch at The Day of Renewal and Remembrance at Arlington National Cemetery. Thank you, Marco, I know you had a great experience out there with other professionals from all around the country. Our next meeting is on August 3 rd at WAREDACA Brewing Company in Laytonsville, MD. This is going to be a great meeting at a beautiful location, with some great beers to try while you are there. There will be a presentation by Jessica Snyder on growing hops and infusing herbs at the brewery. So, if you are not going to be on vacation (like I am) I hope you will be able to attend this meeting. Our next board meeting is scheduled for August 10 th at the Chevy Chase Club. All members are welcome to attend. Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying their summer. Have a great meeting at WAREDACA and see you all in September.

I hope everyone could

attend The Green

Industry Professional

Field Day at American

University on July 20th.

It was another hot day

filled with great speak-

ers covering many

different topics. Thank you to

everyone who helped put this event

together.

On July 17th, Marco Antonio Paredes

(Arlington County Dept. of Parks and

Rec) represented our branch at The

Day of Renewal and Remembrance

at Arlington National Cemetery.

professionals from all around the

country.

Our next meeting is on August 3rd at

WAREDACA Brewing Company in

Laytonsville, MD. This is going to be

Additional Responsibilities: Manage the supervision of the grounds operations and improvement initiatives including, but not limited to, landscaping, tree and shrub removal, flowers

and fauna, and snow removal.

Qualifications: Requires at least 2 years experience and 0-2 years in a management role

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
