Congratulations to Abbey McGovern and Sandra Villalba, who were honored in the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. In 2017, more than 330,000 works were submitted nationwide. Congratulations to Authentic Science Research senior Nicolette Carbonetto for being the only Toms River student selected to do an oral presentation of her research at the Junior Science & Humanities Symposium hosted by Rutgers University. CONGRATULATIONS!

Congratulations to Abbey McGovern and Sandra Villalba, who were honored in the 2017 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. In 2017, more than 330,000 works were submitted nationwide.

The spring sports season is rapidly approaching and our teams are having organizational meetings. This is a friendly reminder to get all physical paperwork to the nurse as soon as possible. Late paperwork may not be processed in time for spring tryouts.

YEARBOOK ORDERING AND PERSONALIZATION

Just a reminder… the $80 preorder price for the yearbook ends on 2/28/17. This is also the final date for adding personalization to the cover of your book. The regular pricing of the yearbook is $85 and will run from 3/1 to 4/30. To order a yearbook, please go to www.jostensyearbook.com.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Dear Parents,

We are excited to inform you that Toms River Regional Schools pre-registration for kindergarten has begun. For all parents of eligible kindergarten students, turning 5 by October 1, 2017, now is the time register in order to guarantee your son’s or daughter’s placement in their home school. Please visit our website (www.trschools.com/registration/kindergarten) and pre-register for one of our upcoming registration dates. Here you will be able to able to review the registration requirements and download the documentation and forms that must be completed prior to your confirmed appointment for March 18, March 25, or April 29.
