Dear readers, this is the last issue of our newsletter prepared and publicized with the financial support from “European Partnership for Local Green Agendas” and we would like to take the op- portunity to express our gratitude to all of you who have been following our project through the lines of this newsletter and who have been so gentle to send us useful comments to improve each issue. During these two years there have been different communities, institutions, organizations and individuals involved in the project both as participants, targets and beneficiaries whom we would like to thank for their seriousness and time invested in the success of this initia- tive. Under this effort, an important thank you goes to the project management team who has been committed in working in the frame of local activism, of democracy and transparency and have reached project goals demonstrating so that these principles are possible. Within this issue we would like to present you three important outputs of these nearly three years experience which will ensure the sustainability and expansion of the action and its principles. Also within this issue we would like to invite all of you interested in applying GA method- ology in your commune, municipality or region to contact us without hesitation for any kind of support you may need. The contents of this document are the sole responsibility of MILIEUKONTAKT International and the partner organizations KOCKA, EDEN and OZON and can under no circumstances be regarded as reflecting the position of the European Union Inside this issue: The Green Agenda Methodology now accessible to everyone through the GA webpage The Green Agenda methodology is a unique methodology which brings community, local government and other local stakeholders in working together for developing and implementing local sustainable development strategies and plans. The method is special in at least 3 main aspects: it starts out by identifying local values rather than problems; participation in the process is not limited to experts or certain stakeholder groups but is wide and open to all; and as a result, the process and its outcomes are genuinely owned by the local people. This methodology has been developed by Milieukontak International and over the years has been successfully implemented in several countries like Romania, Croatia, Moldova, Russia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo. It consists of 17 steps which are divided over 5 phases. With the enthusiasm to share with the wide public all over the world those valuable experiences from all countries we created the Green Agenda website within “European Partnership for local Green Agendas” project. The website contains detailed information on the GA methodology, the manual and the GA implementation steps; latest news from “European Partnership for Local Green Agendas”; the development of the iGA Network; information on partners and other interesting documents and materials. The webpage is available in English language but also in Albanian, Macedonian and Montenegrin. The visitors have the possibility to post comments and feedbacks and can contact us for further information. We invite you to visit www.greenagenda.mk and we will be glad to receive your e-mails in the contact addresses per country you may find in the webpage! If you are a local activist, a LGU leader or staff or simply an NGO activist and would like to start a green agenda initiative in your commu- nity our team of Balkan GA trainers would be very willing to facilitate your work. It uses experiences of our targeted municipalities and aims in assisting the new initiatives for development of Green Agendas and new municipalities and CSOs that would like to use these tools in order to bring the municipal activities closer to citizens. The manual is prepared on four languages – English, Macedonian, Montenegrin and Albanian, since it is aiming the municipalities and CSOs in the targeted countries and also is a result of the joint efforts of the four partner organization and our partner municipalities. this is the last issue of our newsletter prepared and publicized with the financial support

from “European Partnership for Local Green Agendas” and we would like to take the op-

An important part of the Conference was the for-

malization of the iGA Network. For the moment

the network is represented by 11 CSOs from the
