About My School Bag 2014 Activity

• CENTRO (Footwear Anchor store) – Participated by providing discounts on purchase of shoes and

socks for the kids.

• SPAR Hypermarket – Participated by providing discounts on purchase of blankets, toiletries & other

grooming related items.

• KFC Restaurant – Sponsored food for the visiting kids from the NGO.

About the Event

The Forum Sujana Mall hosted 200 kids from the Hyderabad based NGO “Sphoorti

Foundation” on 24th Dec. 2014 at 1200 Hours.

As a part of the activity, all 200 kids were provided with a school bag which had all the

required school stationary, tiffin box, water bottle, a blanket and a grooming kit

containing everyday toiletries and a toothbrush as well as pair of shoes and socks and

a meal at the mall.

In addition to providing all the above mentioned items, the kids enjoyed a shopping

experience at the mall and visited shopping outlets like KFC, Centro and Spar which

was a unique experience for the kids.

Mall Décor - Christmas

The Christmas décor at the mall was one of the key highlights of the campaign and was well

received by customers as well as tenants. Unanimously, the mall boasted of the best décor in

town to celebrate the festive spirit of Christmas.

The key elements of the campaign were the Christmas tree, the tree of light, Santa's castle and

Santa's sleigh. The Christmas tree stood 40ft tall at the main atrium and was the cornerstone of

Christmas ambience amidst its grand presence. The snowflakes hanging décor at the atrium

fully complemented the grand Christmas tree.

The tree of light stood at the main entrance on the east façade near Starbucks and was a key

attraction for customers stepping into the mall as well as to passers-by.

The Santa’s Castle on UG Level was one of the main draws for the kids and adults alike and got

maximum photo clicks from the customers. Same was true for the Santa’s Sleigh with reindeers

on Level G.

Super Santa Contest

In this contest kids visiting the mall were asked to write a letter to Santa on whom

would they like to give their first Christmas present and why. Over 400 kids

participated in this event. The best 50 entries were selected and invited to meet the

super Santa on Christmas day.

On Christmas day, the Super-Santa (essentially a magician turned into a Santa)

made a grand presence on stage for all the invited kids and entertained them with

his bag of tricks and surprise gifts.

SUPER SANTA CONTEST

Carol Singing Activity

The mall tied-up with one of the prominent churches in Hyderabad – The Pearl City

Church and invited the Church’s choir for carol performances at the mall.

The choir not only created the Christmas aura at the mall by singing various popular

carols, but also engaged and entertained the mall customers by encouraging and

allowing them to participate in the activity.

CAROL SINGING CONTEST

Cake Making Workshop

The mall hosted the cake making workshop on December 21, 2014 for all the

customers.

The activity was done in association with Radio Mirchi. The activity consisted of pre-

event hype and participation drive on the radio channel prior to the event as well as

walk-in customers.

Renowned bakers participated in the activity and shared popular Christmas recipes

for cakes.

Santa Parade & Flash Mob

This activity was also done on December 25, 2015.

As a part of this activity 30 promoters dressed as Santos did a parade around the

mall, visiting various outlets and greeting customers on the Christmas day. The

activity ended with a flash mob performance by the 30 santas at the atrium area.

The activity was done through-out the day at regular intervals.

Snowman Making Contest

The Snowman making competition was done in association with Radio Mirchi.

The event was hyped on-air and participation invited from customers.

There was a huge turn-out for the exciting contest and over 200 customers participated in

the contest.

All the materials required for the snowman were provided by the mall and customers

were asked to make a well decorated snowman out of it.

The winning customers were given out gift vouchers sponsored by mall tenants.

Christmas Tambola

This activity was also done in association with Radio Mirchi.

The activity was well advertised on-air and encouraged customers to shop at The Forum Sujana

Mall and participate in the Christmas Tambola to win exciting gift vouchers sponsored by mall

tenants.

The activity was done in association with Make A Difference Foundation in aid of

underprivileged children.

The activity aimed at engaging customers in fun games and contests and

requesting them at the end to donate funds and contribute to the cause of under-

privileged children.

Tree Of Fortune Contest

This activity was done in association with Radio City FM channel.

This activity consisted of extensive on-air promos encouraging customers to visit the

mall and participate in the contest by decorating the Christmas tree provided for

the purpose. All embellishments required for the décor were also provided by the

mall.

The winning customers were drawn from all the entries and the winners won gift

vouchers and an opportunity to meet Tollywood celebrities.

Tevar Movie Promotion

This activity was done on December 21, 2014 in association with EROS

INTERNATIONAL.

The meet & greet activity was a huge success and the customers were enthralled to

get entertained by the visiting Bollywood celebrities – Shruti Hassan & Arjun Kapoor

for the movie TEVAR.

The celebrities interacted with all the customers, gave away music CDs, t-shirts etc.

and also performed on popular dance numbers from the movie TEVAR.

VEGAS GIRLS PERFORMANCE

This performance from international artistes was done on December 27-28, 2014.

After December 25th, it was time to move over from Christmas and to get into the

groove for new year party & celebrations.

Keeping the new year in mind, the event was planned to entertain the customers

visiting the mall, the weekend before new year.

The artistes performed on both the days to the tunes of various dance forms like

Tango, Cha-Cha, Can-can, Antre etc.
