V00014-Air Solenoid V00026- Pressurized Air Tubing

Safety Devices: V00018- Interlock Circuit

Interlock will stop power to the following devices when door is opened:• Router• Stepper Motors and Drivers• Vacuum• Air Pressure Solenoid

All Logic Systems will remain on

Safety Devices: V00022- E-Stop

When pressed, E-stop will stop power to all devices requiring power except PC

V00046/47- Electronic Controls Box

Mounted on outside of enclosure for maintenance access

Includes: Controller PCBA I/O Interface Board Motor Drivers PCBA (3) Cooling Fans

V00024- Electrical Box Cooling Fans

From calculations, Determined we need ~18CFM to keep box under 100°F.

Team Improvements for MSD II

Problem: Setting deadlines

Actions for Improvement:• Integrate Project Schedule

into every meeting• Discipline teams develop

“building blocks” (aka schedule work elements)during break, input into MS Project schedule

• Start every meeting with project schedule review to determine if we are on schedule with all tasks

Problem: Communication across disciplines

Actions for Improvement:• Interface Managers will

have more frequent meetings outside of class time to talk about discipline crossover

• Notes will be taken at every meeting, and all team members are required to review notes from a meeting they were not present at prior to next full team meeting

Problem: Poor utilization of MSD Class time

Actions for Improvement:• Streamline meeting

process so only 1-1 ½ hours used on full group meeting

• Continue using agendas • Team members come

prepared for discussions and complete items by deadline

Break Action Items

1. Develop Schedule Work Elements for Master Schedule

2. Complete Purchase Drawings for all remaining Purchase parts

3. Source remaining non-critical items4. Finish refining Test Plans
