Christmas assembly was held and the school celebrated joy and happiness all around, we

spread the message of love and gratitude. All grades sang their favorite carols and engaged in fun art and

craft related to the festive season. Students also had a good time decorating the Christmas tree and sharing

food and gifts with their friends. A big thank-you to all the parent volunteers for their contribution and support.

Our school provides food to the Sevasadan orphanage on a regular basis.

Teachers from our school personally visited the place, spreading smiles all around. We also cheered

everybody up with a fun game of ‘Secret Santa’.

Unlocking our potential

Our teachers focus on self-development and as part of the Book club group develop the potential of support

staff as well. Our outreach program is run by the teachers and this month we looked at developing basic

computer skills along-with grace and courtesies and conducted a session on self-esteem building and

collaboration.

The assessment workshop was well received. The difference between course objectives and learning

outcomes is the former describes an intended state (what you hope your students will learn), whereas the

latter expresses a present or observed state (what your students actually learned). It is this effort we put in

that brings about goal setting for each child and ensuring every child can learn and extend their talent,

strengths and find opportunities for growth. January will be a time for observation and we will then share the

reports with you end of the month.

The 29th Central Leadership Retreat (19th-22nd) energized us heads of school with new thoughts, ideas, goals

and reflections about our purpose in life. Collaboration is the key to success. We were inspired by some great

discussions, presentations and a dynamic ambience. We know the way, we go the way and show the way.

IELC Koramangala 4th Annual Sports Day

Our 4th annual sports day on 14th December was the perfect finale before the winter holidays. The warm

sunshine touched our hearts and everyone was in a great enthusiastic and energetic mood.

We thank our chief guest Ms. Navita Kishan, our head of primary school to grace the occasion along with my

dear colleague head for RMV branch, Ms. Nishita Israni and we thank them for attending and honoring our

little eagles with medals.

Our children showcased tremendous confidence which was also clear evidence of how equipped they are

with their sure development of self-management and gross motor skills. The best part was to see them

participate and enjoy their day. Thank you parents for your cooperation and support.

When children learn positive life lessons through sports, there is no doubt they will become adults who will

develop grit, resilience and an open-mind and show courage when faced with challenges.

The Decathlon grounds pulsated with energy as our little Eagles showcased a variety of skills and great team

work. Our parents too participated filled with enjoyment and true sportsmanship.

Our children showed so much confidence during their races and also had a lot of fun while participating in

the events. While some parts were more challenging than others it was the attitude that mattered. Thus

students have really put their leadership skills of critical thinking, communication and collaboration into

practice showing a lot of poise and finesse. We are so proud of our children. Well-deserved medals !
