DIOCESAN ACTIVITIES

ANNUNCIATION PARISH ACTIVITIES

I want to thank everyone who brought cookies and other treats, cheese, sausage, etc., to our Christmas program for PSR! I got a little carried away with songs......love music. Also, with the help of generous parishioners, we raised $259 to send to the Cross Catholic Outreach program! Have a very Merry Christmas and blessings to all of you! PSR is on Christmas break until Wednesday, January 11. Thanks, Ruthie Adams

Project Share, the resale clothing store which

benefits less fortunate people in our county, is in need of people willing to volunteer once a month. California staffs the store on Thursdays and Saturdays. Shifts are about three hours long.

Volunteering at Project Share is a rewarding way to “feed the hungry” or “clothe the naked”. Proceeds from Project Share

help to fund the Food Pantry. Please contact Ruth Ann Jobe ([email protected]) or 573-239-6625 for more information or to sign up for a shift once a month. The first of the year is a great time to sign up for automatic withdrawal for Sunday contributions. This can be done anytime. Automatic withdrawals may be made on the 5th or the 20th of the month OR on both dates. These contributions may also be increased, decreased or stopped altogether at any time. This is a great way to give back to God the first fruits! Contact the office to have a consenting form sent to you. You will notice that we have a votive candle stand and candles in the back of church. Prices are large - $3 small $1. Put money in collection plate until a money container has been purchased. Thank you.

Confirmation -- Remember to keep candidates for Confirmation and RCIA in your prayers. If you would like to follow along with the program we are using for Confirmation, log on to DynamicCatholic.com.

Sodality Ladies -- To prepare for our

Birthright Shower in January. Shop the Christmas sales and pick up some baby items for the shower. Thank you!

The Moniteau Christian Ministry Center received another large batch of eggs. Once again, the center needs egg cartons. The need for plastic bags is constant. Please

put the egg cartons and plastic bags in the barrels under the stairwell. Thank you for your continued help in this ministry.
