Be A Blessing - Adopt An Angel What started as a phone call for my family to adopt a family led to four additional families and
an extra 11 kids who are needing a little extra help this Christmas season. This is how our Angel Bulletin Board started this year. The gifts you provide will go to children in need who would otherwise go without during Christmas this year. Your donations would need to be turned into the office by Sunday, December 17th. No need to gift wrap them. Happy Shopping and Thank You, Jodi Rice t Volunteer Opportunity There are still 5 spots available to join Jodi Rice and other families to help at the Kansas Food Bank on Wednesday, December 20, from 1:30 - 3:30pm. Children must be 7 years or older to be able to join and help. RSVP to Jodi soon! What a great way to do something for others this holiday. Call Jodi at the church office 683-4643 or email her at: [email protected].
The Longest Night Service Wednesday, December 20 This service will begin at 6:30pm in the Ward Chapel. Following the service there will be coffee and cookies in the Parlor. This service is always scheduled around the winter solstice. It is a service for those who struggle during the holiday season with darkness and grief for those living with loss. It is a service to remind you that you ARE loved and you are not alone! This year the service will be led by Brian Sutton. Please plan to attend and enjoy a short service and time with others.
