WELCOME We’re so glad you’re here! Wherever you are in your spiritual
journey, we welcome the opportunity to minister to you.
What We Believe
We are a non-denominational church that seeks to be true to the Bible. Our requirements for membership are identical to those of the original church
described in the New Testament.
1. Faith — Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, that He died on the cross, rose from the grave to save you from your sins, and He alone can give you the gift of eternal life.
2. Repentance — Sincerely desire to turn away from anything that displeases God and live according to His word and will.
3. Confession — Openly declare your faith in Jesus Christ. 4. Identify yourself with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ by being
baptized in His name.
We observe the Lord’s Supper each Lord’s Day. The bread and juice remind us of the body and blood of Christ offered for our sins on the cross. We invite every Christian to join us in remembering Jesus by partaking as the emblems are passed.
We include an offering as part of our service to give our members the opportunity to support the work of our church and to thank God for His many blessings. We do not expect our guests to give, but you’re welcome to join us in worshiping in this way.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16

2020 Offering Envelopes Offering envelopes for 2020 are available in the lobby.
If you used envelopes in 2019, there should be a labeled box with your name on it.
If you haven’t used offering envelopes in the past and would like to in 2020, there are
unassigned envelopes. Please take a box and record your name by the corresponding
number on the sign up list.
In order to receive a quarterly giving statement from the church for your tax records,
use of these envelopes is necessary.
If you have questions, please see Kathy Stromberg or Debbie Winkle.
Annual giving statements for 2019 will be distributed by the end of January
A Note from the Treasurer If you have any out of pocket expenses that need to be reimbursed, please turn them in
before the end of the year to Terri Frebis.
The books are officially closed on December 31st.
Beginning Wednesday, January 15th…….
The Friday evening classes for adults and children will be moved to Wednesday evening.
Classes will begin at 7pm.
2020 Election Results The candidates for elders, officers and team leaders, along with the budget, were approved
with a 97% or better affirmative vote by the congregation last Sunday.
Annual Reports As required by the church by-laws, an annual report is produced each year and shared at
the annual report meeting in February. All team leaders, elders, and officers need to turn
in a report giving a summary of activities for 2019. Please send them to Debbie Winkle
at [email protected] by Friday, January 10th.
If you need to review last year’s report, visit the church website
(www.northernhillscc.com) and click on “Annual Report” under the “About Us” tab.
Thank You.
Read the Bible Together
In 2018, Carole Crebs started a Facebook Group called “Read the
Bible Together.” This year 39 members have been reading together
through the entire Bible and will be finishing up at the end of this
year. She will be starting her third year in January 2020 and the
group is open to anyone interested in joining.
Each morning she posts the scripture reading for the day and
comments, questions, or prayer requests can be posted by anyone in
the group. She will be using the book/journal, “My Year in the
Bible.” (You do not have to use the book but it is nice for journaling).
If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Carole.

What God Wants Most is YOU! Everyone should have received a stewardship packet recently. This is a reminder to fill out your commitment card, place it in the envelope, and drop it in the offering plate before the end of the year. Remember to submit only the anonymous side of the commitment card. Our goal is to have 100% of our church family participate in this process.
Our Christmas Eve Service will begin at 6:30pm.
It will be a family friendly service with plenty of
Christmas carols celebrating Jesus’ birth.
Please plan to attend with your family and friends.
Christmas Staff Gifts A Note From the Elders
NHCC has traditionally given Christmas gifts to the staff. You may participate by
designating “Staff Gifts” on your offering envelope or on a plain envelope. Gifts may
be placed in the offering plate through December 31st.
The gifts will be presented to the staff during a worship service in January.
We welcome
