The DEK Horizon iX delivers the perfect framework for modular design.
Whether in high-mix contract manufacturing or high-volume applications with
high throughput requirements – the DEK Horizon iX the right printer platform,
just as the DEK team is the right partner for you.
Benchmark for accuracy
The DEK Horizon iX platform uses an exceptionally stable frame design. With its torsional rigidity and high intrinsic resonance frequency, the machine‘s frame provides the foundation for longevity and long-lasting accuracy. Together with its highly advanced controllers and bus systems, the DEK Horizon iX achieves an accuracy rating of > 2 Cpk @ ±12.5 µm (6 sigma).
The frame provides lots of space and the bus system lots of interfaces not only for basic components like precision drives, digital camera modules and high-precision guides and slides, but also for the many productivity-enhancing options: the DEK Productivity Tools. In short, it is the perfect framework for your customized printer solution.

Experience how intuitive modern machine interfaces can be with DEK Instinctiv™ software. High-speed production, small lots, pin-in-paste, super-small components and apertures, stepped stencils, special substrates, vastly different paste types – no matter what your production requirements are and what processes you use: the DEK Horizon iX platform always offers the right configuration for your printing processes.
And it does this not only for your current challenges, because with the modular DEK Horizon iX platform you can always add one or more of DEK‘s Productivity Tools.
Faster and on two lanes
With the DEK High Throughput Conveyor you can move boards into the printing area while moving the previous board downstream, thanks to a three-part conveyor belt. The result: an even shorter core cycle time.
The DEK Horizon Dual Lane configuration features three ways to optimally adapt your printing speed to your process and space requirements: ▪ Printing area for lane 1 ▪ Printing area for lane 2 ▪ Combination of single-lane and DEK Horizon Dual Lane configuration

Faster cleaning, more throughput
The DEK Horizon iX platform offers two choices of automated understencil cleaning: DEK‘s Blue cleaner or the award-winning DEK Cyclone cleaning system. Both are controlled by the InstinctivTM software and can be invoked as needed by the user or via the DEK ProDEK option by external SPI systems after the DEK HawkEyeTM inspection.
The fully configurable DEK Cyclone high-speed cleaning system (wet, dry, vacuum, lateral oscillation) cuts the traditional cleaning time in half by requiring only two passes. And since the cleaning fabric comes in an easily replaceable cartridge, any downtime is shortened even further. Why wait longer for the stencil cleaning process to do its job?

DEK Paste Roll Height Monitor
The DEK Paste Roll Height Monitor is a small sensor with a big impact. It issues a warning when the paste quantity falls below a set minimum and threatens to negatively affect the printing quality. The process is then stopped until the additional paste is applied manually or via the Automatic Paste Dispensing system.
DEK Automatic Paste Dispenser
The DEK Automatic Paste Dispenser is the alternative to manual paste application. In interaction with the Paste Roll Height Monitor, it controls the precise application of the printing medium to increase quality, allow for faster product changeovers and reduce the number of manual assists.
DEK ProFlow® ATx enclosed print head system
DEK has revolutionized the printing process with the introduction of its enclosed DEK ProFlow® print head. For the first time, most variables can be controlled separately for further printing process improvements.
The DEK ProFlow® ATx in the Horizon iX platform is the latest generation of this trailblazing technology. Your benefits: fewer manual assists, maximum process reliability, significantly accelerated product changeovers, and maximum flexibility with regard to pastes and application – also for pin-in-paste processes.

Temperature, humidity, paste preparation, paste application, idle time – the
process window for optimal printing results is small and depends on many
factors. From the solder paste sensor to the enclosed DEK ProFlow® ATx head –
the DEK Horizon iX platform offers the level of process reliability you want and

DEK ProActiv energizes ultra-fine-pitch applications
Ever smaller apertures and components combined with non-homogeneous component layouts are driving the printing process to its physical limits, but DEK‘s innovations keep pushing the envelope. DEK ProActiv is the response to miniature components like the 03105/0201m form factor and the super-fine apertures they require.
Our latest innovation excites the squeegee blades to vibrate in micro-oscillations, which injects more energy into the solder paste and improves the paste transfer and printing results for modern applications.

DEK HawkEyeTM
The DEK Horizon iX platform sticks to its modular concept also with regard to verification and inspection. Users have access to various internal and external solutions for checking the printing results, preventing the placement of misprinted circuit boards, and continuously optimizing the printing results.
DEK HawkEyeTM
To quickly verify the printing results in the printer itself, our specialists have developed the extremely powerful. camera-based DEK HawkEyeTM solution. Freely configurable, DEK HawkEyeTM is able to optically verify up to 100 percent of the paste deposits and instantly reject any faulty boards.
Two systems are available: DEK HawkEyeTM 750 and 1700. The DEK HawkEyeTM 1700 delivers a three times larger verification window for the reliable inline control of large circuit boards and multi-cluster boards.
DEK ProDEK
DEK ProDEK is our interface for integrating external SPI solutions. With DEK ProDEK, you can optimize the alignment and the cleaning intervals of the Horizon iX based on a closed control loop with the SPI solution and statistical processes. The SPI solution can also trigger a cleaning cycle directly when needed.
