Come home to Denby…We’ve been making pottery inDerbyshire, in the heart of England, for over 200 years. With the many hands of our skilled craftsmen, we take our own locally sourced clay and set about making your distinctive Denby tableware.Our Design team also look further afield for

inspiration, to bring you carefully selected ranges of

porcelain, china, glass, cookware and accessories.

All of which come together beautifully and

are every bit as hardworking as our stoneware.

Denby’s always been made for real people and real

homes. From the smallest cup to the biggest

casserole, it can be used with confidence in the

oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher

and will make whatever you serve look and taste

Our stoneware clay is very strong. It’s fully

vitrified which gives it strength, durability

and chip resistance. All 5000 of our beautiful

glazes are totally unique and each one

has its very own secret recipe.

P O RC E L A I N

Similar in strength to stoneware, porcelain

has a more translucent body and a cool

blue-white colour. Our stunning porcelain

ranges (White and White Squares) are sleek,

stylish and make any food look fantastic.

BON E C H I N A

Bone china has a pure white translucency

and is also fully vitrified, so like our

stoneware it’s surprisingly tough. Not just

for afternoon tea, our Grace bone china has

contemporary shapes and gourmet

pieces to bring china bang up to date.

F I N E C H I N A

Fine china is soft cream in colour and is also

fully vitrified, so as you would expect from

Denby it’s functional and versatile

as well as being beautiful and elegant.

F R E E Z E R SGreat for storing food in the freezer. Just rememberthat all tableware can crack if exposed tosudden changes in temperature, so please don’ttake items from the freezer and put themstraight into the oven or microwave.

D I S HWA SH E R SWe recommend low temperatures and liquid detergents for all our tableware and glassware, as constantdishwashing may result in discolouration of product.

Denby are the first UK tableware

manufacturer to be able to claim

‘zero to landfill’ for all our process

waste. This saves approximately

600 tonnes of CO2 emissions each

year. That’s the equivalent of all our

300+ Denby employees car journeys

in a year being ‘carbon neutral’!

Because our quality standards

are so high, any clay with faults is

recycled into new stoneware.

We save 2500 tonnes of raw clay,

the equivalent of 350 fully

loaded double decker buses!

We make all our moulds from

plaster of Paris. These are recycled

to make plasterboard and every

year 300 tonnes of plaster of Paris

moulds is enough to fully plaster

50 new homes!

Every year we recycle over 100,000

litres of glaze during the glazing

process, that’s enough to glaze

nearly 1 million pots!

We re-use 8 million litres of water

per year and we purify and return

to the water cycle 28 million litres

of water. That’s enough to fill

12 Olympic size swimming pools!

We receive over 300 tonnes of

packaging a year and it’s all

recycled. And wherever possible we

minimize the packaging we send

out by using reusable totes.

And we are not stopping there,

as we are committed to

continuously finding new ways of

making a positive contribution

to the environment.
