DESCRIPTIONDESCRIPTION
Treadstone™ Perimeter Isolation is a polyethylene foam strip designed to reduce impact vibration transfer by isolating Treadstone™ Underlayment and finished floor covering from the walls and subfloor. The flexible nature of Treadstone™ Perimeter Isolation allows for easy transition from wall to wall, providing minimal seams or overlap. Treadstone™ Perimeter Isolation is manufactured with an adhesive backing for easier installation.

TREADSTONETM Perimeter Isolation
After installation of the Treadstone™ Sound Attenuating Mat, install Treadstone™ Perimeter Isolation from the top of sound attenuating mat running up the wall withadhesive face against the drywall, continuing at all perimeters of sound mat surface area. If required, fasten the isolation strip using staples. Ensure staples areplaced above the elevation of the intended pour thickness. Once Perimeter Isolation is installed make sure to seal joint between Treadstone™ Perimeter Isolation andTreadstone™ Sound Attenuating Mat using approved spray adhesive or tape. Contact Formulated Materials for further recommendations.
