What is a desert?

Deserts are hot and dry places. Some of the deserts can be hot, and some deserts can be cold. Animals that live in the deserts some of them only show up at night because at night it is a little cooler than it is in the morning. A cold desert is that when it is winter it snows and not just the tempu1ture goes down.

• One of the greatest desert in the world is in Africa. Africa's biggest desert is Sahara. Second biggest desert in the world is the Arabian deserts Arabian deserts are really big because in Arabian countries they have tents and houses in the deserts.

Weather in the deserts

• In the daytime the desert can be very hot. It can be like over 40 Celsius because it rarely rains in the deserts. The river that is in the desert would be really dry and it will be hot. So deserts are really hot and it will rarely rain, so people don’t live in the deserts because they can die from the heat.

What animals live in the desert?

• In the desert you could see many animals for example you could see birds, Lizards, Mammals, road runner and also more. Tigers, Lions and Zebras also live in the desert but they are rarely to find.

What plants do you find in the Desert?

• In the desert you will find many and many cactuses. Also you will find many trees and not a specific one you will find a lot trees. Another plant is a flower a fairy duster you will find them next to the trees in the deserts.

Human activities

• What are activities that you will find or play in the desert. In the desert you can go hiking and other games and stuff you would like to do their like going to look at art pictures and more.

Why are there a lot of animals that live in the desert?

• There are a lot of animals that live in the desert because the animals like tigers lions lizards and more animals can survive in the heat because they are used to the heat and it is better for them so they can survive.
