HOW DO I CHECK IN FOR CONVENTION?When you come to the event, you’ll visit the registration desk starting on Sunday morning. You’ll fill out a quick sheet telling us where you’re staying and an emergency contact number, pick up your delegate badge, president’s dinner tickets (if applicable) and delegate bag. That’s it!

WHEN DO I NEED TO WEAR MY BADGE? At all times! This event is closed to paying delegates only and the only way we and security know if you’re paid is if you have your badge with you. Please wear it at all times -including special events.

WHAT IS THE ATTIRE? Feel free to come dressed comfortably in business casual attire when attending daily seminars. Bring a sweater if you run cold as rooms can sometimes be chilly. For evening receptions, feel free to dress up if you’d like. The President’s Dinner is a formal event, but come dressed comfortably for dancing and evening fun.

I will show you how to make use of the endless supply of free information available to you to keep your rink up to date with the latest trends. I will also show you how to keep thing fresh and entertaining for your customers. You have to remember that your target audience is not the same one as it was 10 or even 5 years ago. Todays youth are very tech savvy and they are very aware of what is popular and what is “lame”. You can save

You have a finite amount of customers within your area, why compete with other events when you can coordinate. By doing this you keep your regular customers, potentially gain some new ones, and you “join” the community as a supporter of the events, making you and your rink more popular. In the talk I will go into greater detail about how to approach the groups and how to become more involved. You will learn how to cross promote rather than play “rob your neighbor” with the community events. I will even provide you with some methods and tools you can take home and use immediately.

Each year, the Roller Skating Foundation hosts a silent auction at the RSA Trade Show to raise funds to support the mission of the Roller Skating Foundation. We encourage you to donate a product or service to the Roller Skating Foundation’s Silent Auction by using the form below. Please include all details and make copies of this form, if necessary. This year’s event will be held during the 81st Annual Roller Skating Association Trade Show on May 13-17, 2018. In return, you will receive extra publicity in publications and throughout the convention and trade show. The Roller Skating Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1996 to benefit the roller skating industry. All donations are tax-deductible.

ROLLER SKATING FOUNDATION MISSION STATEMENTThe Roller Skating Foundation is a 501(c)3 corporation operated exclusively to raise money for education programs, self-esteem and safety programs, and generally promote fitness through roller skating. The Foundation operates for the following charitable education purposes:• To promote physical fitness and to help build self-esteem among school age

ABOUT THE COURSEThe Revere Golf Club provides golfers with 36 holes of championship golf which traverses through the rugged desert canyons and valleys of the Las Vegas foothills. Throughout your round, golfers will be presented with expansive, breathtaking views of the famed Las Vegas skyline and mountain landscapes beyond. The Revere Golf Club will provide a truly unforgettable Las Vegas golf experience. Stretching 7,143 yards from the back, the Lexington course plays to a par 72 while the Concord course offers 7,034 yards of golf playing to a par 72 ensuring a challenging yet playable round for golfers of all playing abilities. Prior to teeing off on your Las Vegas golf adventure, warm up your game at our expansive practice facility offering all grass driving range and unlimited balls plus two putting greens and short game pitching and putting areas.

TIME AND FORMATCheck in time is 12 p.m. Shot gun start at 1 p.m. sharp. Two person scramble with four players per hole. Golf registration due by April 16, 2018. It is very important that golfers mail registrations by the deadline. Once the final list is presented to the course, it is extremely difficult to add/adjust players and teams. There will not be prizes for placements. However, there will be prizes for contest holes and raffle drawings.

RSF Golf ClassicEach year, the Roller Skating Association International holds the Annual Golden Kooky Marketing Awards, powered by Pepsi, to give recognition to the best websites, flyers, television commercials and radio commercials, direct mail pieces and social media campaigns in the roller skating industry. Each entry is judged on design, usability, representation, content and more. Awards are given in each category and members are encouraged to submit their best materials.
