Pulled suspensionThe Free Float Suspension concept isthe Deutz-Fahr solution to precise andtrouble free mowing. The mowingunit is centrally suspended to givemore precise ground contourfollowing. The mowing units feature apulled suspension system to allow thecutting unit to independently floatover ridges and contours. Thisensures accurate, close cuttingperformance in all conditions.

Excellent protection against foreignobstaclesIf an obstacle is hit in the field thepulled suspension allows the mowingunit to swing backwards and up.When the obstacle is passed themowing unit automatically returns tothe working position.

Contra-rotating three bladed discs

Three bladed discs for more cutsWith three blades per discDiscMaster mowers are constantlycutting. This means a third less loadper blade and an even load on thedrive and smoother power usage inaddition to producing a neat, cleanlycut stubble. Each steel blade isprecisely angled to immediatelyconvey the cut crop upwards with acombination of mechanical actionand air flow towards the conditioningrotor or rollers.

Contra-rotating cutting discs forimproved overlapAll Deutz-Fahr mowers have an evennumber of contra-rotating discs. Apartfrom the immediate crop transport tothe rear this system ensures that evenin wet conditions no stripes of uncutforage are left in the field.

Each individual hub is protected by a safetydevice which protects the drive train incase of sudden overload.

Each individual disc bearing housing can beremoved quickly for easy maintenance andbearing replacement.

Taking cutting performance to newdimensions!

Low noise cutterbarThe newly developed DiscMastercutterbar is designed for lowmaintenance and offers a very quietoperation. Operators willimmediately love the virtually quietoperation of the new cutterbar –convenient during a long and busyworking day. The long curved gearwheels run smoothly in oil andprovide lots of power transmissionwith little slack.

Heavy duty cutterbarThe DiscMaster cutterbar has a highoil capacity, which ensures a verylow working temperature. Thisguarantees an efficient oil coolingand lubrication of the wholecutterbar. The fully welded cutterbarwith overlapping C-profiles makes fora very stiff and strong design,ensuring very high level of durability.

The complete front plate can be turned byremoving a pin lock.

Semi-Swing steel tine conditioner

More aggressive conditioningThe new Deutz-Fahr steel tineconditioner offers a completely newsolution when it comes to aggressiveconditioning and low maintenance. It is the result of thorough testing and engineering work that allows to achieve the same aggressiveconditioning expected of fixed tinesbut with a high degree of tineprotection if you hit foreign obstacles.The result is the new SemiSwing steeltines.

The fish bone structure of the conditioner plategives an improved conditioning effect. The crop isrubbed against the plate to crank the leaf structureof the crop.

The conditioner plate has 3 different settings toenable you to achieve the required conditioningeffect.

The conditioner rotor can be fitted with nylon tinesas an option.

Reduced wear and tearThe complete conditioner tine hasbeen redesigned to move the centreof gravity and to fully utilise thecentrifugal force. This means that theforce from the SemiSwing tine will besignificantly higher than a traditionalfree swinging tine. The result is thatthe tine will stay in position when ithits the grass with force giving fullconditioning effect and minimisingwear and tear on the turning points.

Conditioning intensity is varied by adjusting theminimum gap and the spring pressure exertedbetween the upper and lower rollers.

The special roller configuration with the top rollerlocated further forward than the bottom rollerprovides a better material flow.

What makes the SemiSwing conceptunique 1 The centrifugal force will always try

to move a free swinging tine into a90º position (A) during rotation.The new SemiSwing tines arelocked by the rotor (B). This meansthat the SemiSwing tine has excesscentrifugal force because it willalways try to move further to theright, into the same position as afree swinging tine. The extracentrifugal force is utilised to resistthe grass force and ensure that thetine will stay in position.

You benefit from no movementduring rotation and fullconditioning effect.

2 It requires a grass weight of 22 kgson the tines to move the SemiSwingtines backwards. A free swingingtine will move slightly backwardsas soon as it hits the crop. Thismeans that for a heavy crop, yourequire a significantly heaviercontra-weight to move theSemiSwing tines backwards thanyou would with traditional tines.

Segmented roller conditionerThe Deutz-Fahr roller version isequipped with two profiledconditioning rollers. The rollers arethe same width as the cutterbar andcontra rotate, taking the cut cropquickly off the cutting discs andbetween the rollers. The rollersprovide gentle and effectiveconditioning of fragile crops such aslucerne/alfalfa, keeping leaf loss toan absolute minimum.

Full conditioning effect and minimumblockagesThe angle and position of theSemiSwing tines gives you a bettercrop transport. The crop is movedaway from the conditioner rotortowards the fishbone structure of theconditioner plate. The result is lowerrisk of blockages and full effect of theconditioner plate.

The complete range!The new DiscMaster 800 seriestrailed mower conditioners weredesigned from the ground up withextensive input from customersaround the world. The result is thelaunch of a complete range inworking widths of 2.8, 3.2 and 3.5m, with the new SemiSwing steel tineconditioner or rubber rollerconditioner, left hand or centre pivotdrawbar.

Swathing or wide spreading! The new DiscMaster 828-832-835are the ultimate solutions when itcomes to flexibility. The mower canbe fitted with wide spreadingequipment to give as much flexibilityas possible and help you cope withthe ever changing conditions. Thechange-over from single swathing towide spreading is very quick anddone in short time.

The cutting height is set by turning an integratedhandle on top of the suspension.

The conditioner’s V-belt drive with easy switch ofpulleys. Switch the pulleys to change theconditioner speed from 600 to 900 rpm.

All DiscMaster 800 mowers are standard fittedwith size 380/55-17 wheels as standard in orderto reduce soil contamination.

Centre pivot drawbarThe DiscMaster C-version is suppliedwith a centre pivot drawbar formowing both to the right and leftsides of the tractor. This important

advantage in mower design allows mowing a field in one continuedprocess, without the need to opennew ‘lands’.Turning on headlands is much easier,

because the hydraulically operateddrawbar allows the turning circle tobe significantly reduced, saving timeand reducing the number of instancesthat the cut crop is driven over.

The easy-to-use wide spreading kitThe DiscMaster 828, 832 and 835can be fitted with an easy-to-use widespreading kit. This enables the cropsto be cut and spread in oneoperation. Changing from swathingto wide spreading is done by simply

turning the spreading plate 180º (no tools required) and remove thespreading plates. The spreadingvanes are positioned as far to therear of the machine as possible whenin use. The increased distance fromthe conditioning rotor to the

spreading vanes provides a moreeven spreading of the material acrossthe entire working width.

Hydraulic swath deflectors

The high-lift design of the mower gives a liftingheight of 50 cm. The result is good clearance fortransport and when turning on headlands so thatswath damages are minimised.

The heavy duty factory fitted swivel hitch headstockwith reversible gearbox for either 540 or 1000rmp PTO input allows unlimited turning angles atconstant PTO velocity and ensures trouble-freeoperations during headland turns or transport.

Hydraulic swath deflectorsThe DiscMaster 828TD, 832TD and832CTD are all available with thehydraulically operated swathdeflector as factory fitted option. Thedeflectors enable the operator toplace two swaths along side eachother - ideal for maximising the outputof today’s foragers fitted with widepick ups. With carefull positioning ofthe two swaths, neither the tractor normower conditioner need to drive overany swath.

2 The position of the swath deflectorsis then changed hydraulically, sothat they throw the swath to the left.The second swath is laid adjacentto the first, leaving a double swath.

A new standard in the highperformance segmentThe pulled suspension of the newDiscMaster 632T is Deutz-Fahr know-how transferred to mounted discmowers - a new standard for groundflotation normally only seen on trailedversions.

With its 3.2 m working width andhydraulic suspension it is a truly highperformance machine that combinesperfectly into combination with afront-mounted mower conditioner tooffer a total working width of 6.2 m.

Easy to work withThe new DiscMaster 632T has beendesigned for the professional useduring a busy and demandingharvesting season. Features includethe two speed gearbox, easy accessto both cutterbar and conditionerrotor, low maintenance SemiSwingsteel tines and hydraulic pulledsuspension.

The DiscMaster 632T is standard fitted with widespreading vanes. The mower can be set for widespreading mode simply by moving two leversconveniently placed on top of the mower.

Thisallows you to choose betweenintensive conditioning or low fuelconsumption when the crop onlyrequires limited conditioning effect.The lever is conveniently positionedfor easy access on top of thegearbox.

Safe transport

Hydraulic swath plate - a clever solution whenmowing along ditches. The complete left handswath plate can be moved hydraulically from the

tractor cab, which moves the mown crop awayfrom the ditch and makes it very easy to collectthe crop afterwards.

The complete whole end of the mower can belifted to give easy access to the conditioner. Thecomplete conditioning rotor can be removed veryquickly if mowing without conditioning isrequested.

TransportThe DiscMaster 632T is foldedhydraulically into a vertical transportposition. The low gravity point duringtransport provides an excellent weightdistribution, which protects theheadstock and tractor from excessiveforces resulting from humps and bumps.The tractor remains well under controleven during high speed road transport.
