• support from International Relations Office

Ensuring successful outcome(s)

• departmental buy-in• planning and timescales for approval• responsibilities of each partner• getting the terms of the agreement right

• building relationships and ongoing dialogue

• exploring flexibility (within institutional limitations)

• money matters…but so do the small things!

• academic lead & professional services liaison is fundamental

• post-agreement actions
