Back on Thursday 24 January, William Brookes school was delighted to host a visit for the students of Gustavus Adolphus College from St Peter, Minnesota. The 40+ visitors were welcomed by Wenlock Olympian Society's Chris Cannon and our very own Mr Renwick! They then went on to visit all of the historic sites relating to Much Wenlock and William Penny Brookes.
The following is a message from Aaron Banks, a professor at Gustavus Adolphus College who came to William Brookes:
“Thanks again for all of your work on helping to pull together our visit to Much Wenlock. The students really enjoyed the trip and all of the details. I had them write about it in their journals and it was really interesting to see how impactful the experience was for them.”
