Each holiday season, the Dickinson County Library collects donations to support local organizations that help those in need.

This year, we’ve partnered with the U.P. Foster Closet of Dickinson County.

This is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization run by volunteer staff and stocked 100% through donations. It is

focused on supporting foster families, kinship families (grandparents, aunts, etc.), and adoptive families in the

Dickinson County community. A key service is providing clothing, toiletries, furniture, toys, and more to children in the

foster care system. The U.P. Foster Closet of Dickinson County is located at 415 S. Stephenson Avenue, Ste. 8 in Iron Mountain.
