ABOUT US
Dog Furiendly is a travel platform helping dog owners to plan and find all the places where the dog is welcome on-site. Including dog friendly staycations, places to eat, things to do, dog services, dog walks and events. Dog owners can also leave reviews, recommendations and share their stories. Our aim is to provide a trusted resource for dog owners to plan and enjoy more adventures together.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who loves social media to join the ‘pack’ as our Digital Marketing Apprentice. It will be the Digital Marketing Apprentice’s role to assist with the creation of fun content on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) to attract, engage and grow the community. Other responsibilities include writing fun articles, quizzes and dog travel content to make the tail wag and providing timely replies to comments on social media. During this apprenticeship you will be working towards a Digital Marketing Diploma, Level 3.
Location: You must live in England to apply for this apprenticeship scheme. Remote and flexible working from home.Hours: 30 Hours a Week (28 days of holidays)Salary: The post is offered at the apprentice salary of £6,708 per annum for the first year, and will then rise to the equivalent of the national minimum wage.

You will be automatically enrolled to a Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprenticeship by the School of Marketing where you will be partaking in a 15-month programme that will supply you with all the skills necessary to become a successful Digital Marketer. You will not only be a part of a fun team who will help you with your learnings on the job, but you will also spend 20% of your time off the job training.
Off the job training will cover the theoretical side of digital marketing and will be delivered through lectures, role-play, and online learning. Along with practical training exercises like work shadowing, project work, mentoring and working with cross-functional teams to broaden your experience.
Upon successful completion of the Apprenticeship you will be able to progress onto higher level study programmes, become an ‘Associate Member’ of the Chartered Institute for IT or a ‘Professional’ member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media • Assist with the scheduling of weekly content for social media channels (Facebook,
Instagram, TikTok) to engage with the community and deliver creative and inspirational campaigns.
• Provide timely replies during working hours to comments on social media posts• Drive consistent, traffic and leads to the website from social media• Build relationships with our social media ambassadors and influencers to leverage
social media growth
Website• Write articles, quizzes and fun content on a wide range of dog related topics (think
Buzzfeed for dogs)• Co-ordinate the monthly e-newsletter, when required, providing inspiring content• Edit, optimise and approve user-submitted places and reviews• Research, optimise and add dog friendly places to the website
General• Work closely within a small team and develop cooperative working relationships• Provide accurate and timely information as required for the CEO to present at
monthly board meetings

• You LOVE dogs of all shapes and sizes, the big, the small, the fluffy and the tall• You enjoy writing, talking and have good communication skills• You’re a people person and enjoy building relationships with others• You are packed full of CREATIVE ideas and you’re not afraid to share them• You enjoy researching different topics and investigating things in detail• You can plan and manage your workload effectively with good time management
skills• You have a proactive can-do attitude with a track record in making things happen• You’re not fazed by adapting to change• You’re comfortable working with data and you’re interested in learning more about
using analytical tools• You’re confident about asking for help when you need it!
