how we can help ...ACTIVE AGEINGSocial events and activities for people who are over 65 to help keep you active and connected.

Domestic SupportHelping people manage their domestic duties. We provide services that will assist with cleaning, shopping and other light home duties. Clients make a small contribution to their subsidised regular domestic service.

Door-to-Door TransportSupported by a team of dedicated volunteers, we provide safe, comfortable transport enabling eligible people of all ages to attend medical appointments as well as recreational and social activities. The service includes scheduled group trips as well as individual transport trips.

Home Assist Secure (Inner West)Available to anyone over 60 or anyone living with a disability, Home Assist can help with managing those jobs around the house that if left undone could be a risk to safety or security. This might include changing light bulbs, installing smoke alarms (or changing batteries), minor modifications to your home or small general repairs.

Social SupportWe connect people to their community through a broad range of social and fitness activities focusing on healthy ageing. We also assist people to attend appointments, to access their local shopping centre and to continue engaging in everyday activities. We can also arrange for groceries to be purchased and home delivered by one of our team members.

In-home Nursing ServiceWe accept referrals from post acute teams, discharge coordinators as well as GP’s. Our experienced Clinical Nurse will make home visits to provide nursing services.

Personal CareAssistance with all areas of personal hygiene that may be becoming difficult for people to manage alone. We will accept referrals from health professionals or people can self refer for this service.

Allied HealthSpecialist hydrotherapy and exercise classes that have been formulated by a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist. The program includes a comprehensive assessment, is goal oriented and focussed on re-enablement, strength and balance.

Meals on WheelsMore than just a nutritious, home-cooked meal, a friendly check-in by our volunteers can help people to continue living independently in their own homes. Helping older people and people with disabilities stay in their homes is at the heart of what we do.

The Paddington CentreOur beautiful centre is a social hub with activities, entertainment and services such as hairdressing and podiatry. Our home-cooked lunches and morning teas are nutritionally balanced and beautifully prepared in-house. Transport is included in our low daily fee.

SUPPORT FOR FINANCIAL & PERSONAL CHALLENGES
