Children: Their Future, Our Focus
Hello Division 28 Key Clubbers,
It’s already November! I don’t know about you, but this school year has been flying by for me. The holiday season is approaching quickly, and with it comes a lot of service opportunities! There are unfortunate people can’t always celebrate the holidays together, so I encourage you to reach out to local organizations to make someone else’s holiday that much better. By either volunteering at food banks or homeless shelters, or donating any extra food you may have this Thanksgiving, that can easily make a difference in someone else’s holiday season.
Another important event coming up in November is Skate To Eliminate! It will be a joint project with Division 26, and with only the admission price of $10, you can helpeliminate MNT. This will be a very significant event, so be sure you can attend! I hope to seeyou there!
In Love and Service,Adam NewtonLieutenant Governor of Division 28

Lieutenant-Governor
Election
As DCON approaches in March, Division 28 will have
an LTG election rally in which the next LTG for the
2016-2017 year will be chosen. The candidate will be
elected in a caucus by a group of two voting
delegates per school in the division. During the
election rally, you will have the opportunity to hear the
candidates’ speeches, ask them questions, and
ultimately elect the next LTG.
If you are considering running, contact me
through Facebook or email ASAP to let me know.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have
about the position and the election rally.

In the midst of serene nature and fluctuating weather conditions lies the great Pacific Northwest
District (PNW).The Pacific Northwest is geographically the largest district of Key Club International. The district spans from western
Canada to northern California: with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and the pan-handle of Idaho in between. The Pacific Northwest encompasses nearly 1.8 million square miles and includes over
300 clubs that operate under 45 divisions. Through rain or shine, snow or hail, Key Clubbers in the
Pacific Northwest dedicate countless hours to their communities and internationally, and are always
Proud 'N' Willing to serve!
UNICEF
Since 1994, Key Club has been Trick-or-
Treating for UNICEF and over the years
has raised nearly US$5 million for iodine
deficiency programs worldwide and HIV
and AIDS programs in Kenya and
Swaziland. Now it’s helping the Eliminate
Project.
MARCH OF DIMES
For decades, Key Club has partnered
with the March of Dimes to give every
baby a healthy start. Key Club members
raise thousands of dollars annually
through various programs, including
collecting change, holding dances, and
taking part in March of Dimes’ signature
event, March for Babies.
CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK
HOSPITALS
Key Club participates with Children’s
Miracle Network Hospitals by sponsoring
fundraising events. Key Club members
also participate in service projects at their
local children’s hospital.
