The CwA was a platform that the Republicans campaigned with during 1994

During the first 100 days they promised

Balanced budget

Welfare reform

Rise in Social Security earnings

Etc.

Outcomes

They were successful in fulfilling their promise.

It led to a an increase in approval ratings for Congress

People started to trust Congress, but the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton brought that to an end
