Procedure is written in imperative tense (no pronouns). Place the beaker on to the hot plate. Stir the mixture with a glass
stirrer for 2 minutes. Then you put the beaker on the hot plate and make sure you stir
the liquid for 2 minutes.
Procedure instructions are specific. Pour 20 mL of water into the 50 mL beaker. Pour the water into a beaker.
