Airport on Sunday evening before their departure to Rio, Brazil Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) chief, Alex Mould led the dignitaries who showed up at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday night to bid farewell and goodluck to Ghana’s representatives to the 2016 Olympic Games which sets off in Rio, Brazil within a week.

GNPC on Saturday held a cocktail send-off party for Team Ghana where they revealed the desire to support numerous sports disciplines in the hope that this country achieves success in future Olympics based on foundations to be laid henceforth. The state owned company have paid for the travel and expenses of the entire Ghanaian contingent of 16 athletes and a number of officials who will fly the flag of Ghana at the 4-yearly competition. Below are some few photos from the airport as Team Ghana led by Ghana Olympic Committee President, Prof. Francis Dodoo set out to Brazil on a mission to make Ghana proud:
