This guide intends to provide you with suggestions on various ways you can leverage social media to maximize your reach.

• Develop an ongoing (and cost free!) relationship with as many residents as possible, in order to provide them with the incentive and encouragement they need to become a better recycler.

• When you first start out, the focus should be on getting residents to sign up – for reminders, for notifications, and by taking the “What type of recycler are you?” quiz.
