• Electricity：No power failure in the past and future.

• Load：The system can operate even without water and power supply for 7

days individually, according to current workload.

• Structure：Under ground level (SRC), above ground level (SS).

• Anti-seismic-Systems : The design factor 435gal which approached 7 grade , much more than 10 grade of US standard (432gal ).

• Flood control：The lobby 3.8 (meter) is higher than neighborhood for 0.5

meter, according to high standard of floor control in TPE city hall).

• Fire proof：Resist for 1 (hour).

• Load factor：Load bearing structure could reach to 600kg/㎡ and 2000kg/ ㎡

for above and under ground respectively.

Vision and Mission

• U P S：500KVA × 2 (1 + 1).

• Power generator：545KW × 2 (1+1).

• Ground (electricity) : Electrical impedance is lower 0.18Ω for avoiding thunder and lightning、lower 1.5Ω for telecom system

and 0.5Ω for computing system.

• Illumination：Parking zone 50-100 lux、stairs 50-200 lux and

data center area 500-600 lux.

• Security control：

1. Fire alarm notification appliance

2. Emergency alert

3. Security guard: 24 × 7 × 365 (hour)

4. CCTV is monitoring outside building, all entrance, exit,

elevator, stairs, parking zone and facility area.

Data Center’s facilities

Door security system： Security guards is connecting with each other all the time, while unusual case is found, they can take action immediately. Flood control： The lobby 3.8meter is higher than neighborhood for 0.5 meter。（According to high standard of floor control of TPE city hall) 。 There is a floodgate located at entrance of parking zone under ground level to avoid the flood。 Anti-seismic infrastructure ： Located at bedrock of the hill where is relatively firm with no doubt。 The foundation accomplished by 192 piece of pile。 Reportedly said that design factor 435gal which approached 7 grade , much more than 10 grade of US standard (432gal ). The building was made of an amount of concrete which is used on making bridges specifically and produced in Taiwan, can resist earthquake for 4000 pounds。 Above first floor can bear loading for 1000kg per square meter， B1、B2 either can bear loading for 2000kg per square meter。

Internet Data Center summary

Security management： There are 20 units of CCTV equipped at each entrance and exit。 Security guards and engineers are on –duty on-site for 24 hours。 The guest has to exchange the pass then be allowed to enter data center. Centralized control： Siemens’ BMS integrated system is able to monitor important system such as environment, fire fight, UPS, power generator, air conditioning and water. In order to manage it well, all of data is consolidated to centralized control room. The smoke detector consists of ionization and photoelectric in pair and working Simultaneously. Once detects the smoke, any one of them will alert. Owing to expensive networking facilities inside co-location, where needs to be equipped with both of carbon dioxide and FM200 extinguishers , in additions, the hall ways come with dry powder and FM200 extinguishers fully. Data Room is equipped with VESDA, which can sense micro particles with laser。 All staffs are qualified and certified with expertise of electrics, fire fight and sewage treatment。 We do regular checking on every kinds of system and device。


Circuit: The data transmission and electric distribution line operating in signal channel, preventing from interference. Fire protection system ： The water and foam extinguisher are placed at parking lot of basement。 The FM200 extinguisher are placed at inside electrical control room and server room. UPS (7F)： 1 set of UPS can fulfill maximum of loading currently, there are 2 sets of UPS at each floor to operate for 8 hours. Enables UPS firstly while power failure happening and waiting for power generator ready for use until voltages are stabilized at least 10 minutes. UPS is able to remain longer than15 minutes, even over-loading on design load. The parallel host of UPS has 2 sets of backup power supply.


Power generator： There are 2 units of power generator to provide total amount of 1090KW, each provides 545KW (proximate to 681KVA). Backup system is designed by N+1 mode and used cooling water to calm down. Enables UPS firstly while power failure happening and waiting for power generator ready for use until voltages are stabilized at least 5 minutes. There are 2 main fuel tanks with 1000 (liter). The backup of fuel tank can work for 8 hours with 1000 (liter), there are 2000 (liter) available totally. The cooling water is 30000 liter。 It can entirely support the whole building in power failure with only one power generator. The cost of establishment which is 50 millions, over than second-thirds of total cost.


Data room： It’s 3.7 meters height between ground and ceiling. The raised floor is 40cm between ground, consisting of a gridded metal framework to avoid antistatic interruption. The raised floor is 60cm × 60cm, bearing load for 500Kgs. The air conditioner with constant temperature and humidity to keep at 22℃ and 50％. There are 5 units of 30 tons double compressor air conditioner to keep cool. Each server room, hall way and basement, all of them has FM200 and VESDA smoke detector. Networking management：On-duty for 24 Hours. On-site operation：2 guys working on each shift for 24 hours.。 The standard cabinet in 60 cm width and 110 cm or 120cm depth with lock both in front and back of door. Capable of doing customized requests, such as different design of cabinet or independent space with cage.
