This board incorporates all-in-one design with flexible memory and flash configurations, and on- board peripherals including two gigabit Ethernet ports, upto eight high speed multiprotocol serial I/O ports, two serial ATA compatible ports, two 64-bit PMC extension slots, counters/timers, watchdog timer and general purpose I/O. The high data rates required to support these advanced processors are met by a 64-bit PCI bus clocked at 100MHz and 200MHz DDR II memory bus yielding sustained memory transfers of more than one giga byte / sec. DP-VME-0447 is a dual or single processor VME bus computer

to meet needs of high performance embedded applications. It addresses such markets as

defen e, aerospace and automation, where real time control signal processing is required. pplications

The compact 6U, single slot board is powered by Freescale’s latest G4 family Power PC 7448/7447A

processor. This board incorporates all-in-one design with flexible memory and flash configurations, and on-

board peripherals including two gigabit Ethernet ports, upto eight high speed multiprotocol serial I/O ports,

two serial ATA compatible ports, two 64-bit PMC extension slots, counters/timers, watchdog timer and general

purpose I/O.

The high data rates required to support these advanced processors are met by a 64-bit PCI bus clocked at

100MHz and 200MHz DDR II memory bus yielding sustained memory transfers of more than one giga byte /

sec.

Operating system support includes VxWorks / Tornado from Wind River system, Linux and Lynx OS. and

LynxOS from LynuxWorks.

RUGGED VARIATIONS

Air-cooled variants are designed to be used in standard industrial VME ch-ssis. Conduction-cooled builds are for use in third party ATR style enclosures. In addition to these COTS configurations, the board may be supplied to meet the mechanical and thermal requirements of specific platforms with the addition of mission specific, to - type mechanics.

DP uses advanced thermal and mechanical design in the printed circuit board, metal work and assembly process in order to build in the required levels of ruggedness. Ruggedization assemblies include conformal coating as standard.
