“I SHOT MY SELF IN THE FOOT BUT OVER TIME IT HEALED”INTERVIEW WITH REEGANREEGAN CHATS TO US ABOUT HIS FAME,FRIENDS, RELATIONSHIPS AND LIFE

Lets start off by congratulating you on your number 1 worldwide platinum album! How did you feel when you got told that your latest record had reached such huge recognistion?Thrilled. Still am. I when i started in the music scene, no-one knew my name and i didnt have a penny to my name, thankfully i have worked with the best writters and producers the world has to offer us. They catapulted my music into hits. “Your Just Making It Worse” your debut album, why did you call it that?Its about me, it was orginally titled “Words” but when all the contreversy about me, cheating on my girlfriend came out thats when i thought to myself, why am i doing this, i was happy with her and im just making my life worse, so i choseto rename and make it more personal.So why did you cheat on your ex and has she forgiven you?I dont have a reason because nothing can justify my actions but i should have broken up with her, i liked her more as a friend, but she hasnt forgiven me so she will never even be my friend again. I shot myself in the foot. I was foolish. Overtime It healed and the public have started warming to me again. When you started writing and recording you were in your last your album you were in the last year of secondary school, aged just 16, how did your GCSE’s go?Not to well, but i excpected it, i got about 6 C’s, 1 B, 3 D’s and 1 F. I was supposed to get like A’s and B’s but i didnt do very well, but at least i got more then 5 C’s.Do you think because you were to focused on your music, thats why you didnt get what was excpected?Probably, school was a doss for me and im not going to lie, i took the easy route, but if i could do it all again i would work harder because, the more GCSE’s the more money you’ll get in the future, it all sumounts to something in the end. I got a B in music which i was shocked in because that was my worst lesson, worse then science and citizenshit lol, probably because i didnt like the teacher, happens alot to me.So have your school life gone to waste?Not at all. Like my friend Rihanna once said

She didnt do that well when she was at school, but look at her now. If anything ive learnt more then failing Citizenship, when i got an F because i realized i actually have to work to get what i want in life, no-one will hand it to me on a plate.You recently have become close to UK Trio N Dubz,and Rihanna what is it you like about them?I like their attitude, its not a bad one, they know what ive been through being a HipHop artist and you get lots fo fans, but you get loads of haters aswell, and N Dubz have especially been hit with loads of haters eventhough their music is awesome.

SDo you see yourself retiring any time soon?Not at all. and i dont plan to, i plan to die doing what i love. if i die while

making music, ill die a happy man. Music is to precious to me to discard just because i get old, get over it, i wanna be a fricken 90 year

old music miester man.Whos career do you want to emulate as in, be as succesful as?

I want to be as big as tupac , thats all you can aim for, hes the biggest in the business but dead, , if i got anyone near as

succesful as him i would hav e acheived a dream of mine.Last question, are you enjonying the fame?

I am, I really am, i dont buy into the whole celebrity life style, cause i will never see myself as one, but i love being

recognised, and i love people listening to my music after all this time, wanting and craving to be a real recording artist i

finally got the chance and im incrdibly happy.
